Meet the Team: Caitlin

Caitlin joined us at Fire Cider HQ in the summer of 2016 and has been a dynamo of ideas and action since she got here. If you've ever wondered how we manage to move around the country to all the tradeshows and events that we attend, it is only with her at the helm! From booking all of our travel accomodations to packing up and scheduling the shipment of all our materials, she keeps us moving with the pulse of the wholesale side of our business. And that just scratches the surface of what she brings to our team!

Caitlin leads Team Fire Cider at one of our many events in 2018!

How long have you been part of the Team? About two and a half years.

What do you do here at HQ? (and what's your title?) I'm the Trade Marketing & Events Manager. I support our retail partners with marketing support, like promo deals, demos, advertising, and special event support. I also manage all aspects of participation in trade shows and consumer events.

What is your favorite way to use Fire Cider? I add a healthy swig to my tea throughout the day. I also make a simple vinaigrette for salads.

When did you first try Fire Cider? Many years ago at the Berkshire Botanical Garden Harvest Fest. I would say in 2012 maybe?

Favorite guilty pleasure? Does staying in bed, binging sci fi and fantasty movies/tv and knitting count?

Do you have any hobbies? Special talents? I knit, bake, play the flute, and I just started learning the ukelele! I can also write cursive mirror-image backwards. It's a great parlor trick!

What's your favorite music? genre/musician? I love so many kinds of music, it's hard to narrow it down, but I do love old punk, old country, folk, indie, and anything really off beat or quirky.

Video Games, books, or movies? Books!

Based on your answer above, what are you 2 favorites? I'm so bad at choosing favorites!, but right now I am reading IQ84 by Haruki Murakami and The Brief Wondrous Life Of Oscar Wao. Before that I read The Kite Runner. My favorite movie is easy, though!–Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Caitlin helps in the kitchen, getting the next batch of Fire Cider ready to bottle.

Super strength, telepathic powers, or the ability to control time? And why? Controlling time would be awesome! I would probably use it like Hermione does.

Tell us one thing about you that would surprise people. I love true crime stories. Anyone listen to the My Favorite Murder podcast? I will talk about it for hours with you!
