Organic honey variety - African Bronze

Posted by Najwa on Dec 6, 2018 11:52:00 AM

We have shared why being certified organic is an integral part of who we are at Fire Cider. But did you know that in addition to the whole raw, organic produce that goes into every bottle of Fire Cider, the honeys we use in our Original and African Bronze blends are certified organic, too? They sure are! Because we want to be sure that every drop of our flavorful tonics is the result of sustainable practices, we searched for the best tasting, raw and organic honeys we could find, and are here to let you know more about them!

When we add African Bronze Honey to our Fire Cider base of organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, roots, fruits, and spices, magic happens. A smooth, full-flavored tonic with hints of toffee, smoke, and spice is created. In every sip, you’re empowering your taste buds and your health—and the livelihoods of beekeepers in Africa.

Giving Tuesday: Elizabeth Freeman Center

Posted by Najwa on Nov 26, 2018 10:11:00 AM

There is an interconnection between the food we eat, the people who produce it and the soil in which it grows, and the communities in which we live. Here at Fire Cider, we strive to ensure the choices we make, from what we put in our grocery carts, to the ingredients we use in our tonics, are in the best interest of our personal health, the health of the Earth, and the well-being of our communities. Our commitment to organic certification is where it begins, acknowledging that our bodies, farms, and larger ecosystems benefit when we leave toxic chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, and genetic engineering out of the equation. But it doesn’t end there! Ensuring that our local communities thrive includes supporting the initiatives that strive to maintain safety for all. That’s why, in the spirit of giving this holiday season, we’ve chosen to partner with the Elizabeth Freeman Center in Pittsfield, MA.
